Our Services

  • We do thorough inspections that result in a comprehensive report documenting our review of everything including attics bathrooms, doors, electrical, foundation, garage, gutters, HVAC, insulation, kitchen, plumbing, railings, stairs, windows, vents, and more. Learn more in this video.

  • A pool and spa inspection is a thorough examination of a property's swimming pool and spa to assess their safety, functionality, and compliance with local regulations. We inspect various components, including the pool structure, equipment (such as pumps and filters), safety features (like fences and alarms), water quality, and overall maintenance. The inspection aims to identify any potential hazards, code violations, or necessary repairs, providing valuable information to buyers, sellers, or property owners about the condition of the pool and spa. This process helps ensure the safety and proper functioning of these recreational amenities.

  • A termite/Wood-Destroying Organism (WDO) inspection is a specialized examination of a property to assess the presence of termites and other wood-destroying pests or organisms. We conduct a thorough inspection of the structure, including the foundation, crawl spaces, attics, and wooden components of the property. The goal is to identify any evidence of termite infestations, as well as damage caused by other wood-destroying organisms like beetles and fungi. This inspection is crucial for real estate transactions, as it helps buyers and sellers understand the condition of the property and address any potential damage. Early detection and treatment can prevent significant damage to the structure over time.

  • Radon testing is a process designed to measure the presence of radon gas in a building, typically a residential property. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can emanate from the ground and enter homes through cracks or openings in the foundation. Watch this video to learn more!

  • A mold inspection is a thorough examination of a property to identify the presence of mold and assess the extent of mold growth. Certified mold inspectors typically inspect both the interior and exterior of a building, focusing on areas prone to moisture, such as basements, attics, bathrooms, and crawl spaces. The goal is to locate any visible mold, detect musty odors, and identify conditions conducive to mold growth. Watch this video to learn more!

  • Wind mitigation is a process aimed at assessing a property's vulnerability to wind damage, particularly during severe weather events such as hurricanes or strong storms. This inspection is commonly conducted on residential and commercial buildings in regions prone to high winds. We evaluate various aspects of the structure that can influence its resistance to wind forces. This includes the roof, exterior walls, doors, windows, and the overall construction of the building. The inspection may also consider features such as roof shape, materials, and the presence of protective devices like hurricane straps or reinforced garage doors. Watch this video to learn more!

  • A 4-point inspection is a specialized examination commonly conducted on older homes, typically those over 30 years old, to assess the condition of four specific components critical to the property's insurability. The inspection focuses on the following four key areas:

Roof: The inspector assesses the age, condition, and remaining life of the roof, looking for any signs of damage or deterioration.

Plumbing System: This includes an evaluation of the plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water heaters. The inspector checks for leaks, corrosion, and the overall condition of the plumbing system.

Electrical System: The inspection examines the electrical panel, wiring, and components to ensure they meet safety standards and are in good working order. Any outdated or potentially hazardous electrical systems may be flagged.

HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) System: The HVAC system's condition and functionality are assessed, including the furnace, air conditioning unit, and ductwork. The inspector looks for signs of wear, damage, or inadequate performance.

Our Values

FAQs

  • A home inspector is trained to carefully observe and report on a variety of items and issues that can affect the value and safety of your future home. We are thoroughly trained to identify issues that help you understand more about your property and any issues that may arise. As with most major purchases, you want to be assured that you are making a good investment. That's where we come in.

  • You will want to schedule your home inspection within a few days after you sign the purchase agreement. Make sure you have a clause in your purchase agreement that allows you to have a home inspection.

  • No house is perfect. If the inspector identifies problems, it doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't buy the house, only that you will know in advance what to expect. A seller may adjust the purchase price or make repairs if major problems are found. If your budget is tight, or if you don't wish to become involved in future repair work, this information will be very important to you.

  • Definitely! The builder's final walk-through inspection is very unlikely to disclose any problems with the home they built as some repairs can prove to be expensive. A certified home inspector will spend 2-3 hours during a typical inspection and could save thousands of dollars in repairs later on. Homeowners will have to correct defects that were present at the time of construction when they sell their homes in the future. We also offer 11-Month Warranty Inspections which allows us to identify potential problems and have the builder fix them before the warranty expires.

    Item description

  • We offer a re-inspection after each inspection that is performed. The inspector will have a copy of the original report and will verify that all requested repairs have been made properly. We will also issue another report based on our findings of the re-inspection. However, there is an additional charge for this inspection.

  • We are an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector serving Southwest Florida, and are fully licensed and insured.

After your inspection, you will receive a copy of the InterNACHI Home Maintenance Guide Book, our free gift to help you care for and maintain your new home.

  • We strongly encourage you to be there for the inspection whenever possible. After the inspection is complete, we will go over our findings with you and help answer any questions you may have.
